THE GARDEN AT TOWER ST

The garden at Tower Street was a magic place for us in the five years we were there. Massive, welcoming, sunny, east-facing, peaceful, inclusive, fun, joyful, relaxing, full of music and craic. We made it with love and we loved being in it.

It was one of our first collaborative projects as a new larger community and it was built on top of a large concrete area out the front of the building. We purchased many, many cheap used scaffold planks, tonnes of soil and more manure than you could shake a large shovel at and we got stuck in together and made 22 raised beds of future potential! Inside we were busy too, sowing seeds and nurturing the tiny baby plants that would be transferred to this brand new garden in the later spring.
