Dragos Musat

Dragos Musat (born 1989) is a multidisciplinary Romanian artist and animator currently living and working in Belfast.
His work draws heavily on surrealism, 1990s’ cartoons, sci-fi, and childhood impressions of growing up in post-communist Romania.
Dragos began his career as a graphic designer which has left an indelible imprint on his artistic practice through developing a keen interest in digital platforms.
An avid draughtsman, Dragos is forever exploring novel ways in which to bridge his drawing practice with emerging technologies.
Dragos has been exhibited in Romania and Northern Ireland.
His most recent solo show ''Change as a Constant'' took place at the Vault in September 2022.
Recently Dragos has been working with socially disadvantaged communities in Belfast, empowering them to reimagine their neighbourhoods through the use of digital media such as game design and animation, 2 areas in which he is very invested.
