With a 25-year career as a photographer in the commercial and community sectors I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my work be it commercial work (advertising/advertorial) or my socially engaged community-based work.

In recent years with the help of funding from the Arts Council NI I have been enabled to make sculptural works using found gifted and retrieved flags, bunting and ephemera. This auto-ethnographic work is hyperlocal and durational in some cases taking 3 +yrs to make. I’ve exhibited locally and internationally and my work is held in private and public collections including the Ulster Museum.

In May 2023, my short film ‘Language of the Lampposts’ closed the OtherMovie Lugano Film Festival. I am travelling to Switzerland to deliver a talk and Masterclass with the support of the British council.
