John Macormac

John Macormac is a visual and sonic artist who lives and works in Craigantlet. He studied Fine Art, graduating from the University of Ulster with an MFA in 2015 and a BA in 2003. He has exhibited regularly over the years throughout Ireland and internationally. His works are held in private and public collections. John was a founding member of Cathedral Studios (2003-2021) and a past co-director of Catalyst Arts. He also plays drums for experimental jazz punk quartet Blue Whale and tends to Christmas trees on the family farm.
