Longitude of Longing
An exploration of memory, place, and the echoes of past dwellings.
The spaces we inhabit shape us as much as we shape them. Longitude of Longing traces the delicate connection between home and identity, where memory and geography intertwine.
Having lived in nearly 30 different places, each one has left an imprint—defining who I am and shaping how I remember. Every moment and every chapter of my life has revolved around the spaces I once called home. This exhibition is a personal cartography of those places, recreated through hazy recollections and personal photo archives, forming a nonlinear yet deeply felt journey.
Through a mixture of digital and traditional works, each piece pays homage to these past homes. An interactive digital installation invites visitors to traverse these spaces in a simulated 3D world, with little or no boundary between past and present.
Join me in this journey of recollection, where home is both a place and a longing.
