New Chair!
Big news!
Vault Artist Studios is delighted to announce our new Chair of Trustees - Linda McBurney who is taking over from the incredible Sinéad O’Neill-Nicholl to whom we are forever indebted to for steering the good ship Vault over the last 2 plus years. Thank you Sinéad!
Linda is also an amazing human being and a committed and caring member of Vault who has already served as a Trustee on the Vault board for the last 4 years, bringing with her over 20 years of managerial experience in roles ranging from Operations Management, Project Planning, and Internal Communication. In 2014, she switched gears to follow her passion for Visual Art and is currently the HR Officer at the MAC (Metropolitan Arts Centre) in Belfast.
Linda says - ‘Her passion for Vault is rooted in her personal ambition to provide affordable studio spaces for artists and a community to support them.’
Linda is a massively talented artist and printmaker who combines traditional and non-traditional printmaking processes using ink, acrylic and oil paint experimenting in monotypes, etching and collagraphy whilst being committed to finding environmentally friendly approaches to non-toxic printmaking.
To see Lindas work and speak to the legend herself you can at her upcoming solo exhibition entitled “Chasing Ghosts” opening on Thursday 4th July at Belfast Print Workshop Gallery, Belfast.
