Community workshops at Shankill Mission café

Workshop participants work on their clay pieces with support from artists.

Vault is delighted to be working with Anann's Arch to deliver new community workshops in our café space at Shankill Mission. This clay workshop, led by Karolina, with a women's group from the Spectrum Centre was the first in the series.

Jackie from Anann’s Arch said- “The group set intentions for their clay workshop, and created pendants to hang, as well as pinch bowls, they decorated their pieces using natural materials. During the workshop those that grew up in the area chatted about their memories of the mission, and the old café, and the whole group hoped to see the café used for more creative and community events. We are looking forward to hosting more workshops in the café, and if you know any Shankill based community groups that would like to get involved please let us know at jackie@anannsarch.com or elaine@anannsarch.com.”
