The General Manager will lead a small, committed team with flair and vision. Your aim will be to find suitable and affordable studio spaces for artists with the aspiration to increase access, generate income and business sustainability and deliver a cutting-edge artistic programme. It will be your job to create a culture that balances an efficient and safe working environment with a friendly, welcoming, community atmosphere.
Our venues will operate outdoor and indoor performance spaces of varying sizes which will require Entertainments Licenses and we hope to operate a theatre license for food and drink. Directly reporting to you will be the Studio and Events Assistant, PR and Admin Assistant as well as casual event management staff, operational staff, interns and volunteers.
You will work as part of the Vaults active sub-committees, liaising with the Members Association, Building Sub Committee, Finance Sub Committee, PR Team, Funding Working Group and reporting directly to the Trustees on strategic and artistic programming decisions.
