Introduction to Printmaking – Course for teens with Wilhelmina Peace

Join us at Vault Artist Studios for a fun, engaging and relaxed ‘Introduction to Printmaking’ course by artist and master printmaker Wilhelmina Peace. The course is designed for young adults (aged 13-17) and is the ideal opportunity for them to build their creative confidence while learning practical and technical skills in the field of drawing and printmaking.

When and where?

Course dates begin on Thursday 6 February 2025 and run continuously until Thursday 27 March 2025. Sessions run from 5:30–7:00pm and will be held at Vault Artist Studios, Marlborough House. 

What do I need to bring?

Materials are included. However, Wilmelmina asks that students provide their own sketchbooks and basic drawing materials (a set of pencils, a rubber, and anything else they wish to bring along). We will also be using a portable printing press and basic safety precautions will be required for participation.

The most fundamental requirement for the course is to come with an open mind and a willingness to experiment. We are going to nurture an attitude of curiosity towards our own creativity and dispel the myth of ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ in art!
