ruth crothers

Ruth is a multidisciplinary textile artist working in the areas of screenprint, digital print, illustration and embroidery with a view of creating work within a fashion context. Previous projects include textile design work, freelance illustration, commission work, street art as well as creating art and design workshops alongside occasional teaching on the Textile Art Design and Fashion course at Ulster University. Clients have included Boundary Brewary, Daisychain Inc, Belfast City Council, Vault Artist Studios, Arts and Business NI, Belfast Design Week, The Beautiful Flower Company, Circleline Design Studios, Abby Lichtman Design and Szu Szu Sign Company. Her work has previously been supported by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, The Freelands Foundation and University of Atypical.
