J SHIELDS is a vocalist, writer and producer from Belfast, Ireland. J created the EP, ‘Evergreen’ and released it last year, now teaming up with the six following producers to create a rollercoaster of a mixtape that spans across the spectrum of electronic genres vastly:
Calm C, ambient producer and sound designer,
CosmictheKid (formerly known as Saint War), California based house producer and DJ,
Distracto, experimental producer and sound artist,
Chipzel, chiptune pioneer and electronic wizard,
Optmst, Belfast based DJ, producer, live artist and hardware enthusiast (who also produced ‘Pretender’ on the original EP),
Tailtiu, Irish electro it-girl. Producer, DJ, icon.
J SHIELDS also created his own ambient synth-drone remix to the song ‘The Blue In Between’. The ‘Version4Jess’ is a tribute to his bestie and biggest supporter, featured in the song.
