love reimagined: hear more, feel more

love reimagined: hear more, feel more is a sonic work about love.  Inspired by the academic research of bell hooks on the subject of love, Sinéad O’Neill-Nicholl has recorded the voices of 100 people speaking, singing and sharing their thoughts on love.  Using Dolby Atmos software and with technical and production support from John D’Arcy (QUB), love reimagined; hear more, feel more is a looped spatial audio installation in four parts that attempts to resist mainstream narratives.

You are warmly invited to experience the installation which will run in the Sonic Lab at SARC this coming weekend.

The opening drinks reception will be held on Friday 30th August from 6pm - 8pm.  The event continues on Saturday 31st August and Sunday 1st September from 12pm  - 5pm

Special thanks to John D’Arcy and all the staff at SARC for technical and production support throughout the project and for making this event a reality.

This event has been made possible by financial support from the Arts Council NI.

Special credit and thanks to all who agreed to be recorded in the name of love ❤️
