Vault IWD Exhibition ‘24: Open Call. 

Mother

To coincide with this year's International Women's day, Vault is planning a group show at our Marly gallery & project space and this time the submission is open to any artist living or working in Northern Ireland/North of Ireland. The exhibition will launch on Thursday 7th March and continue until Sunday 10th March celebrating mothers day. Mother is the fifth exhibition in our new gallery & project space at Marly House and the first group show open to artists from outside the Vault artist membership.

The Breif:

For this Open Call we are inviting artists to submit either an image of their mother or other artwork in any medium about or created by their mother. The submission could be about someone who performs the mothering role and is not limited to the conventional meaning of the word mother. 

Some practicalities to consider:

Vault has finite wall space in our gallery, so we are asking that participants keep submission of works under A2 in size. If your work is larger, please make a note in the submission form and we will try our best to accommodate. 

Vault is a multidisciplinary artist-led artist studio and submissions in non visual arts or participatory arts are welcomed.
